Digital Humanities Training, Workshops, and Hackathons
HUMAL training sessions, workshops, and hackathons give researchers, students, and memory institution professionals an opportunity to engage with digital humanities methods through practical work. Participants can work with real cultural and research data, experiment with analysis and visualisation methods, and develop new research ideas and prototypes together with representatives of different disciplines. Activities also address research process documentation, reproducibility, and open science principles. The precise format of a training session or workshop depends on the target group and the research problem being addressed. HUMAL can also organise such activities in cooperation with research, educational, and memory institutions.
